Plug-in for Thomson Reuters with Microsoft 365 Copilot
With the aid of Copilot for Word and its legal goods and content, Thomson Reuters and Microsoft have created a contract drafting tool. Professionals may apply their knowledge to edit, validate, and construct the final document with integrated access to Thomson Reuters knowledge, content, and AI technology by receiving a draught working document from users and access to trustworthy content right where work happens – in Microsoft Word.
During this week’s Microsoft Build event in Seattle, a demonstration of the connection between Thomson Reuters Legal Drafting, driven by its legal products and content, and Microsoft 365 Copilot for Word will be presented. In the demonstration, Copilot builds a draught contract with the use of a Thomson Reuters plugin that surfaces knowledge and information from Westlaw, Practical Law, and Document Intelligence. The task was completed in minutes in Microsoft Word rather than taking hours.
“Microsoft 365 Copilot is reinventing productivity for people and organizations, and we are thrilled to collaborate with Thomson Reuters to extend Copilot with new AI-powered experiences that will support legal professionals by saving them time and helping them drive value for the clients and businesses they serve.”
Andrew Lindsay, Corporate Vice President of Industry, Apps & Data, Business Development, Microsoft
