Semrush, a prominent SaaS platform for managing online visibility, announced the acquisition of Traffic Think Tank (TTT), a community and leading provider of marketing education with premium content created by and for top-tier marketing and growth executives.
The TTT Academy is one of the most reputable sites for digital marketing education in the globe, offering more than 300 hours of content from more than 90 industry experts. In addition to its vast collection of knowledge, TTT provides a members-only expert community on Slack that may assist with inquiries, act as a sounding board, and connect users with other peers in the international marketing sector.

A small group of marketing professionals who were looking for other marketers who shared their challenges founded Traffic Think Tank. The network expanded to over 300 members and offered hours of on-demand education in just three months. By 2020, there would be close to 1,000 members in the exclusive Slack group, enabling in-person Q&A sessions with some of the brightest minds in the field. By February 2023, TTT will offer on-demand courses, 300+ hours of educational video, and tens of thousands of messages per month.

With access to communities focused on SEO, Content Marketing, Social Media, Digital PR, and PPC, supported by industry thought leaders and entrepreneurs, Semrush is now able to grow its Academy and help marketers improve their trade. The TTT objective will be upheld, and its community will gain access to new content, extra sessions from industry leaders, as well as the materials and tools currently created by the Semrush Academy. The most recent purchase for Semrush was Backlinko in January 2022, which expanded the Semrush Academy’s SEO training resources and brought founder Brian Dean and his colleagues on board.
The TTT co-founders Matthew Howells-Barby, Nick Eubanks, and Ian Howells will continue to contribute to TTT community discussions after joining Semrush, as will a number of other consultants. They will also create unique content for the Semrush Academy.
Semrush has big plans to build a personalized, comprehensive, online self-paced training platform, creating a new standard for digital marketing education and promising to provide a first-rate service to marketers all over the world.
