A new strategic partnership between WPP and BigCommerce, a top Open SaaS ecommerce platform for well-known and rapidly expanding B2C and B2B brands, was announced. Through this partnership, WPP clients will be able to maximise sales and drive growth across a vast array of advertising channels and marketplaces. With the help of this ground-breaking collaboration, WPP will gain priority access to new product tools on BigCommerce and the data feed management platform Feedonomics. Additionally, APIs and data sets will be made available, allowing WPP agencies to create original insights for clients based on product, trend, and purchasing data.
The collaboration is a reflection of WPP’s continuous investment in its client-facing commerce offering. It follows the revelation that WPP agency Wunderman Thompson has joined the MACH Alliance, of which BigCommerce is an early member, and involves a collaborative commitment from BigCommerce and WPP to assist shared clients develop agile commerce solutions and scale growth.
