Tara Ryan, Akshay Sivananda, and Sapna Nair have all been appointed as chief marketing officers, chief information security officers, and general managers, respectively. These hires strengthen Saviynt’s executive strength and dedication to providing its unified identification platform in response to the market’s rising demand.

As CMO at Saviynt, she will collaborate with the company’s leadership on global marketing strategy planning, development, and execution to strengthen the Saviynt brand and enable scaled, industry-leading growth. Since taking on the role of CISO at Saviynt, Akshay Sivananda has strengthened the company’s enterprise-level security practices and built a strong security team. He has decades of experience in a wide range of security-related fields, including insider risk, infrastructure and cloud security, red teaming, incident response, risk management, product security, and cyber defense. Prior to joining Saviynt, Sivananda held the positions of Divisional CISO at Capital One and Executive Director and Global Head of Cyber Defense at Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Sapna Nair has over 26 years of significant experience establishing and transforming world-class teams at some of the most successful global technology companies, including Intuit, ThoughtWorks, Groupon, Eventbrite, and Epsilon. Sapna Nair is a technologist herself. She will manage the operations in India in her capacity as General Manager of India and assist in implementing Saviynt’s high-growth business strategy. She is renowned for her skill in motivating teams and interacting with executives in organizations with complex organizational structures and numerous locations.
These hires highlight the company’s explosive expansion in the past year, which has been mostly fueled by the high demand for its corporate Identity Cloud, a top cloud-native converged identity ecosystem for employee, corporate application, privileged, and third-party identities.
Sachin Nayyar, the company’s founder, returned to Saviynt in January 2023 as the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, while Paul Zolfaghari, a leader in the sector, joined as President. Nayyar has returned to lead Saviynt in the delivery of its best-in-class identification solutions after leading the firm from its birth in 2011 to dominance in 2018.
