Rich media usage in campaign and conversational SMS for businesses increases overall engagement, according to TextUs research. The research will be presented at a webinar on March 22, 2023 at 11 a.m. MT.
Recent data from TextUs, the industry’s leading conversational texting platform, has shown that including images in text campaigns raises overall engagement and reduces opt-out rates. TextUs enables businesses to have engaging real-time conversations with prospects, candidates, employees, and customers.
Text messaging surpassed phone and email by a wide margin as the preferred method of communication among those surveyed, according to TextUs’ most recent State of Texting research. More over 50% of respondents said text messaging was the most efficient form of communication for their workplace routines. Nevertheless, 62% of users claim to send and receive texts frequently every day. Furthermore, according to recent study, SMS advertisements with images have a 10% higher chance of receiving a response. Also, the opt-out rate for the same rich media ads is 22% lower.
The capacity to send campaigns with rich media varies from provider to provider, thus it is advisable to confirm whether or not your texting platform can offer this functionality. While SMS campaigns are not new to commercial text messaging, they are not always supported by all providers.
On Wednesday, March 22nd at 11am MST, TextUs will host a live webinar where they will discuss some best practices and real-world examples of how picture use and A/B testing can improve engagement in text messaging campaigns. Even if they can’t make it to the live event, webinar attendees are invited to sign up because a video will be distributed to everyone who signed up after the presentation.
Texting is an easy and seamless extension of current company systems and day-to-day workflows thanks to seamless interfaces to the best applicant tracking systems (ATS) and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
